Terms and Conditions

By making a reservation you indicate full acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Payment:
We require a 50% deposit to secure all bookings, payment transfer to CBA Bank Tanzania (account details available on request).
The remaining 50% must be paid upon arrival in cash. All payments must be made in USD$.
We do not accept traveller’s cheques.

Cancellations:
If the booking is cancelled, the following cancellation charges apply:
Between 14 and seven days of arrival 50% of deposited amount
Between six and two days of arrival 80% of deposited amount
One day or less (including no-show) 100% of deposited amount

Refunds:
We offer a total refund by bank transfer on any advance payments made to us for trips cancelled at least 15 days before arrival or in the case of serious sickness or death. Bank transfer charges apply.

Disputes:
Any disagreements about reservations or payments and any complaints about quality or service should be made in writing to us within seven days. Once this time elapses, it will be deemed that issue in question did not occur and no compromise will be made on outstanding monies. In the case of a dispute on an invoice, only the amount under dispute may be withheld from prompt payment.

Currency:
All prices are quoted in US dollars (USD$) and all payments must be made in USD$ or other currencies at our discretion and exchange rates. Please note that we do not accept USD$ Bank notes from before the year 2006.

Taxes:
Prices include VAT and all other applicable taxes and fees.

Liability Waiver:
Budget Dar, or any of its owners, employees or representatives, shall have no liability for any personal injury or death to persons on our property, or illness directly or indirectly related to the property.
Further, we shall have no liability for any personal injury or death to persons using equipment supplied by us, or while guests are engaging in other activities organized by Budget Dar. Budget Dar cannot and will not be held responsible for loss, damage, illness, or injury caused by third parties who we recommend for their services.
Budget Dar, or any of its owners, employees or representatives, is not responsible for loss, damage or injury to persons or property however caused. You must take all necessary steps to safeguard your personal property.
Budget Dar does not accept responsibility for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience which may be caused directly or indirectly by events outside our control such as late arrival of any means of transport, civil disturbance, fire, floods, unusually severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government, acts of terrorism, or the failure of any machinery or equipment.
